DentyBot ("we", "us", "our") is a software-as-a-service provider offering AI-powered chat solutions for dental clinics. Our registered address is Dublin, Ireland. You can reach us at hello@dentybot.com.
2. What data we collect
We collect two categories of data:
- Client data — information provided by dental clinics when they sign up: practice name, contact name, email address, website URL, and billing information (processed securely via our payment provider).
- End-user data — information collected through the Denty chat widget on your clinic's website. This may include: patient names, contact details, appointment requests, insurance questions, and chat transcripts. This data is processed on your behalf as a data processor.
3. How we use your data
- To provide and improve the DentyBot service
- To respond to your support requests
- To send service-related communications (invoices, updates)
- To comply with legal obligations
We do not sell your data to any third party. We do not use patient chat data to train our AI models without explicit written consent.
4. Legal basis for processing (GDPR)
For clients in the European Union, we process personal data under the following legal bases: contract performance (to deliver the service you purchased), legitimate interests (to improve our service and prevent fraud), and legal obligation (to comply with applicable law).
5. Data retention
Client account data is retained for the duration of the contract and up to 3 years after termination for legal and billing purposes. Chat transcripts are retained for 90 days by default. You may request earlier deletion at any time.
6. Data sharing
We share data only with the following categories of sub-processors, all bound by appropriate data processing agreements:
- Cloud infrastructure providers (for hosting)
- AI model providers (for powering Denty's responses)
- Payment processors (for billing)
- Email delivery providers (for transactional emails)
7. Your rights
Under GDPR and applicable privacy laws, you have the right to access, correct, delete, port, or restrict processing of your personal data. To exercise any of these rights, email hello@dentybot.com. We will respond within 30 days.
